CMOR Composed Materials Ohnhäuser GmbH has specialised in the development, production and marketing of products in the area of textile semi-finished products. The company has made it its business to efficiently manufacture tailored and load-appropriate preforms from fibre-reinforced plastics for high-performance lightweight components.

Tailored Fibre Placement technology (TFP)

With this technology, the anisotropic material properties of the reinforcement fibres are optimally used, as the rovings can be freely aligned, placed and fixed at any angle between 0 and 360 degrees.

All high-performance fibre materials such as carbon, aramid, glass, basalt and natural and synthetic fibres can, by means of economical series production, be reproducibly processed into complex near-net-shape performs with a very high degree of pre-fabrication.

Binder technology

Binder technology represents a further focus, with the help of which automated and thus reproducible fibre structures can be manufactured cost-effectively in robust processes with optimal quality.

The combination of these procedures makes possible even more complex preforms that match the desired profile of requirements in a tailored and load-appropriate manner. The use of such preforms saves our customers having to perform in-house pre-assembly work, the number of process steps is minimised and the share of manual work is considerably lowered. Thanks to this rationalisation potential, components can be produced more cost-effectively and the transition from manual single-piece production to partly automated series production becomes feasible.

Through the integration in the ohnhaeuser company group, CMOR is able to manufacture hybrid components and assemblies within the company group.
